This role combines strategic performance management with hands-on technical support, requiring an individual who can translate strategy into measurable initiatives while providing exceptional support for Army reporting systems. You'll be a consultant on strategic and performance management issues, lead training engagements, and support strategic review meetings.
Working in a hybrid arrangement, you'll split your time between remote work and our government worksite at the GAO Building in Washington, DC (Penn Quarter area). On-site days will be determined by our government client, typically 2-3 days per week.
The ideal candidate brings demonstrated experience in performance management within the government sector, an understanding of military readiness systems, and expertise in strategic planning techniques. You should be well-versed in qualitative and quantitative assessment methods for improving complex management processes.
Experience and Education
This position requires a college degree and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Strong written and oral communication skills are essential for preparing recommendations and briefings to senior-level agency officials.
Critical Requirement
Candidates MUST possess an active Department of Defense SECRET clearance or higher. This position requires clearance verification and a background investigation.
Work Location
Hybrid Schedule: Split between remote and on-site work
